Easter Egg Hunt draws record crowd

rabbit with colored eggs The Park District's annual Easter Egg Hunt at Sycamore Park turned out to be one of the most successful ever. The great weather, 60 degrees and sunny drew an estimated 650 people to Sycamore Park for the annual event. The Park District partners with the Batavia Rotary Club to offer the annual event free of charge to Clermont County citizens.

"This is always one of our most popular annual events" said Park District director Chris Clingman. "It's always great to see a lot of people using our parks, but this year we were pleasntly surprised with how many people attended."

The Clermont County Park District would like to thank the Batavia Rotary club for sponsoring the event, and Wal-Mart for donating the plastic eggs.
